The Richmond Oilers Youth Football and Cheer Organization
The Richmond Oilers Youth Football and Cheer Organization is a franchises part of the Fort Bend Youth Football League (FBYFL). Established in 2015, the Oilers is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit organization dedicated to give back to the community. The mission of the Oilers is to empower and inspire the youth in the urban community through unity and sportsmanship. The Oilers organization will provide weekly physical activities, as well as positive coaching/teaching of health nutrition to prevent childhood obesity. In addition, we will strive to provide life, developmental, and team building skills for youth.

When does the season start?
Our first official practice is on Monday July 28th.
What is the frequency of practices?
For the weeks of July 28th until August 15th, we will practice 5 times a week (Monday through Friday). Starting on August 18th the days of the week for practice will be determined by the coach.
What is the time and location of practices?
Typically practice is from 630pm to 800pm at Brisco Jr Highschool, time will be determined by the coach after daylight savings.
When are games and how long is the season?
We will be scheduled to play 8 regular season games starting the Saturday September 6th. Game times are as follows:
FLAG: 8:00am
FRESHMAN: 9:30am
SOPHOMORE: 11:00am
JUNIOR: 1:00pm
SENIOR: 3:00pm
We will play 4 home games at George park and 4 away games in location in Fort Bend County. Regular season will last until November 1st. At that time the playoff/bowl season starts on November 8th and depending on the success of the team they could play until the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
What do our fees pay for?
Field rentals, game jerseys and pants, insurance, league dues, referees, police officers, EMT, ect…
Do I need to purchase my own Equipment?
Yes. You will need to purchase practice pants, Shoulder Pads and Helmet are available for rental.

Congrats to the Junior team for winning their SECOND Super Bowl! The coaches & the boys did an amazing job. If you missed the game, then you missed a good one. The boys played ALL FOUR QUARTERS!! 2 Richmond teams playing against each other in the Super Bowl. That hasn't happened in years!
