The Richmond Oilers Youth Football and Cheer Organization is one of eighteen franchises of the Fort Bend Youth Football League (FBYFL). Established in 2015, the Oilers is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit organization dedicated to give back to the community. The mission of the Oilers is to empower and inspire the youth in the urban community through unity and sportsmanship. The Oilers organization will provide weekly physical activities, as well as positive coaching/teaching of health nutrition to prevent childhood obesity. In addition, we will strive to provide life, developmental, and team building skills for youth.
FBYFL has a competitive cheer team now, which will start competing in the beginning of next year. Two of our Dolls made the team. Congrats Niya Norman & Devyn Manciaz!!
Participants came out the week of June 17th - 21st to do a workout with the Oilers coaching staff. Rotations were set up daily for the kids to workout & get to know each other. Thanks to all who participated! “Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.” Vince Lombardi, American Football
